I can see the value of social bookmarks on sites like Delicious. People can travel from location to locationa nd still have the links to sites they need for their job.
I am not totally sold on them for myself for personal use. Outside of using stumble upon I pretty much visit the same 4 or 5 websites. I do sometimes put site in my favorites folder on stumble so I can access them at another location.
